Having 15 years' experience within the property industry, Mel joined Urban Residential 12 years ago having previously worked within corporate as a Sales Negotiator. Eager to move into the Residential Letting and Property Management sector, Mel became Branch Manager at our Liverpool office overseeing the management of 250+ properties. Mel specialised within all aspects of the role enjoying the interaction with new and existing landlords, offering advice and support to get their property rented as quickly as possible. Such progression was rewarded last year with the role of Sales Director at our Maghull Branch. Having expert knowledge in the local area, market appraisals and sales valuations, Mel manages the sales function across both branches as well as ensuring all staff are kept up to date with current and changing legislation.
With over 20 years experience within Property Management working in Liverpool and the surrounding areas, Paula assists in all aspects of renting and managing our property portfolio from the Liverpool office. Specialising in the more technical areas of Landlord Licensing, rent collection and rental reviews amongst the plethora of other aspects of the role including liaising and obtaining quotes for Landlords and organising repairs. Paula is also our lead in dealing with any housing benefit and universal credit claims and appeals with the city councils.
A new addition to our Maghull office offering full support in all aspects of Letting and Property Management. Janet has previous experience in Medical and Childcare management and administration. Responsible for the initial referencing and application support in the Lettings team ensuring a thorough vetting process. Provides support in the provision of rent collection, rental reviews and carrying out periodic Inspections as well as assisting Property Fix to coordinate our maintenance services for our Maghull portfolio.
From our Office Junior to Property Manager. Charlotte joined as a modern apprentice over 4 years ago and is now working towards a professional qualification within her field. With responsibility for overseeing Inspections, Deposits and Licensing from our Maghull office, she is happy to assist both Landlords and Tenants alike in all aspects of Letting and Property Management.
Working from our Maghull office, Freya is our Digital Marketer and Trainees Sales Negotiator. Having worked part time while studying her A Levels and watching too many episodes of Selling Sunset, Freya decided that the Real Estate industry was for her. She will be assisting in the design, build and implementation of our digital and social media, ensuring our marketing strategy remains current and targeted optimising property exposure for our Sellers. Freya is also the contact point for any initial Sales enquiries and assists the Sales team in coordinating viewings, feedback and sales progression.
A multi skilled operative, Mark has over 35 years experience maintaining student and private rental accommodation in the Merseyside area. Responsible for overseeing the maintenance services for both our property portfolio and full refurbishments from minor repairs to new kitchen and bathrooms. He has also plied his trade maintaining accommodation in the Hotel industry so has a wealth of knowledge and skills at all levels. Oversees and co-ordinates all our subcontractors ensuring both quality and optimum services.
